Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in in the parent area, Google verifies your account and Supabase returns a verified session to Maps. Maps checks existing family access using the account identifier and email. A short-lived secure sign-in cookie protects this return. An existing parent PIN still protects settings; children do not need a Google account.

Parent accounts and children

Binoron, LLC is responsible for the personal data described here. A parent manages the family account. We process the parent’s email address, authenticated account identifier, language settings, access status and security information. The password is handled by Supabase Auth. The parent PIN is stored as a salted hash, never as readable digits.

This Maps interface does not request children’s names, email addresses, birthdays, photos, voice recordings or precise location. Children explore within a parent-configured account. No child microphone or camera access is requested. A parent declaration or PIN is not presented as a general certification of compliance with children’s privacy laws.

Learning, storage and providers

Quiz progress and sound preferences are stored on the device by the learning interface. Login cookies, the selected language and a short parent-unlock session support access and security. The offline installation stores a generic offline screen; it does not cache account pages or private API responses.

Supabase supplies account/database services and stores the published pictures and prerecorded audio; Vercel hosts and delivers the app. These providers receive technical request information, including IP address, browser information and request time, to operate and protect the service. Stripe processes payment details when a parent opens Checkout; Binoron stores payment identifiers and access status, not full card numbers. Maps does not enable advertising trackers or send children’s map searches to a live AI service.

Sparky’s pictures and narration are produced in advance using AI tools, including OpenAI. Private production archives may be backed up in Binoron’s Google Drive. Those generation and archive workflows use editorial materials, not recordings uploaded by children. Existing Binoron parent identity may be reused for sign-in; Maps settings and paid access are separate.

Purpose, retention and rights

Account and payment processing supports the requested service and contract. Necessary security processing protects accounts and prevents misuse; legal records are kept where required. We do not rely on consent for optional advertising because none is enabled in this Maps interface. Providers may process data in the EU, United States and other service locations under their applicable processing and transfer terms.

Account settings are retained while the family uses the service or until an authenticated deletion request is completed. Short unlock sessions expire automatically; necessary security and payment records may be retained for fraud prevention or legal obligations. Device learning data remains until it is cleared in the browser or app. Contact support for account access, correction, export, deletion, objections or withdrawal of any separately given consent. Identity is verified before releasing account data. Cancelling a paid subscription and deleting an account are separate requests.

Depending on your location, you may also contact your data-protection authority. Parents can ask what information is associated with their family account and request that its use stop. Please contact support if a child has supplied personal information through a support channel.
